A Case Study: Neuraxpharm & 3DforScience
Neuraxpharm, Europe’s specialist in central nervous system (CNS) therapies, partnered with 3DforScience to develop a high-impact animation explaining the mode of action of BRIUMVI® (ublituximab) — a glycoengineered anti-CD20 antibody bringing new hope to people living with multiple sclerosis (MS).

The animation walks the viewer through MS progression: from B cell-driven myelin damage to the precise targeting action of BRIUMVI®. It visualizes how ublituximab’s glycoengineering enhances its affinity for FcγRIIIa receptors, increasing NK cell-mediated cytolysis (ADCC) while maintaining complement-dependent cytolysis (CDC). This dual mechanism achieves effective B cell depletion at lower doses and with shorter infusion times, delivering both efficacy and efficiency.

Our team collaborated closely with Neuraxpharm’s medical experts to ensure molecular details were represented accurately. From antibody design and receptor binding to B cell depletion graphs, every frame balanced scientific precision with clear, intuitive visuals. Dynamic sequences emphasized how BRIUMVI® controls inflammation and supports better patient outcomes.
Starting from Neuraxpharm’s core script and scientific data, we developed layered visuals: real-life inspired key visuals, detailed antibody interactions, and dynamic charts showing trial results. Smooth transitions tied the mechanism to patient benefit, reinforcing BRIUMVI®’s promise.

Beyond explaining BRIUMVI®’s science, the animation connects with the audience emotionally, reminding viewers of the daily lives impacted by MS. Visual storytelling bridges the gap between molecular immunology and real-world relief, making the science memorable and persuasive.

The project integrated script development, storyboard creation, 3D antibody modeling, animation of cellular interactions, and brand-aligned final editing. Close review with Neuraxpharm’s teams ensured the content was medically accurate and visually aligned with the BRIUMVI® and Neuraxpharm brand identity..

The final animation is now a cornerstone in Neuraxpharm’s medical communication toolkit. It supports HCP education, conference presentations, and digital engagement — demonstrating how BRIUMVI® offers new hope in MS care by combining scientific innovation with patient-centered efficiency.
“Neuraxpharm entrusted us with visualizing a complex therapy and its patient benefit. Together, we turned advanced immunology into a story of efficacy, efficiency, and hope for millions living with MS.”
