A case study on Debiopharm Intake:
Debiopharm: is an independent biopharmaceutical company with an ongoing commitment to develop tomorrow’s standard of care to cure cancer & infectious diseases and improve patient quality of life.
On this occasion they wanted to show the functioning of the molecule Debio1562M through a video MoA that facilitates its understanding.

The CD37 antigen is exclusively found on hematopoietic cells like B lymphocytes, neutrophils, and macrophages, regulating immune functions. In AML, CD37 is broadly expressed, efficiently internalized, and correlated with poor prognosis, making it a promising target for therapy.
Debio 1562M is an antibody-drug conjugate that specifically targets CD37. It binds efficiently to CD37 receptors on tumor cells, facilitating internalization, and is being developed as a potential first-in-class CD37-targeted therapy.

Considering all factors, our team set out to visually represent the CD37 antigen and the precise mechanism of Debio 1562’s action on tumor cells, leveraging Debiopharm’s Multilink technology to highlight its efficacy and safety profile.

The first thing was to capture the message in hand-drawn illustrations to grasp the idea and work on it in a precise way, this, always accompanied by precise messages of how the story would be told and the direction of the narrative; all this to have a better understanding of the visual idea and have an adequate feedback.

Debiopharma Intake received an animated video that described in detail the potential of its new molecule Debio 1562 as a treatment for AML diseases, which are a fast-growing form of blood and bone marrow cancer marked by abnormal myeloid cells growth with a high relapse rate and limited treatment options.
This fact represents a clear opportunity to achieve a better understanding of its mode of action and functioning and, in this way, obtain investors who believe in and support the project.

These images illustrate the creative process behind the 3D animated video developed for Debiopharma Intake. The focus was on visually explaining the features and potential of the new molecule, effectively communicating the message to investors.

The final product was a high-quality video that delivered a clear, simple and visually compelling message that not only met but exceeded Debiopharma’s expectations. It served as an effective tool for understanding the new molecule, thanks to our collaborative work with Debiopharma.
