Mironid, a biotech company pioneering treatments for Autosomal Dominant Polycystic Kidney Disease (ADPKD), partnered with 3DforScience to bring its innovative LoAc® therapy to life. To achieve this, our team created a suite of visual assets: a high-impact explainer video, a dynamic presentation deck, a continuous loop animation for events, and a dedicated web experience, all focused on illustrating how LoAc® targets the root cause of cyst growth in ADPKD.


The project’s core video guides viewers through the disease’s root cause, highlighting how PKD1/PKD2 mutations disrupt calcium signaling, elevate cAMP levels, and trigger cyst growth.
It then shows how LoAc® rebalances this pathway by activating long PDE4 enzymes, normalizing cAMP, and potentially halting disease progression. The presentation slides and looping version distilled these visuals into concise talking points for conferences and meetings, while the web format ensured a broader digital reach.

Working closely with Mironid’s scientific team, we modeled the kidney microenvironment down to ion channels, cAMP signaling cascades, and cyst formation at tissue scale.
Careful animation of LoAc®’s action on PDE4 enzymes gave stakeholders a clear, trustworthy look at the compound’s unique advantage.
Starting from Mironid’s scientific narrative, we built detailed storyboards, 3D cell models, and fluid molecular animations. Each asset — video, slides, loop, and website — maintained a consistent visual language, ensuring all touchpoints told the same credible story.
