Case Study: MSD Animal Health – Bravecto® VR Experience
MSD Animal Health, a global leader in veterinary medicines, sought to transform how they communicate the unique benefits of Bravecto® Injectable, a product offering one injection for a full year of flea and tick protection for dogs. To achieve this, they commissioned an immersive 360° VR experience that brings the mechanism of action to life.

This immersive VR experience captivated veterinarians by clearly demonstrating how Bravecto®’s innovative fluralaner delivery system works. From injection to full-body distribution, ensuring one year of robust flea and tick protection.
By balancing detailed scientific insights with engaging storytelling, the presentation provides a practical educational tool that enhances clinical understanding and supports informed decision-making in veterinary practice.

Our process began with a deep dive into the pharmacological data behind Bravecto®, transforming complex scientific insights into a series of meticulously crafted visuals. In close collaboration with veterinary experts, we validated every scene to accurately depict the journey of fluralaner ensuring the animation mirrors real-world dynamics.
This rigorous approach blends art with science, offering an authentic visual narrative that not only educates but also inspires confidence in Bravecto®’s year-long protective promise.

The creative process began with a detailed storyboard that captured every step, from the administration of the injection, through the dynamic movement of fluralaner crystals as they are released and travel through the dog’s body, to the final protective effect against fleas and ticks. Each scene was planned to ensure clarity and precision, aligning with MSD’s communication goals.

Leveraging state-of-the-art VR technology, we developed a virtual journey that allows viewers to observe the inner workings of Bravecto® in a 360° environment.
This immersive experience not only explains the product’s mechanism but also highlights its long-term benefits, making complex scientific concepts accessible and engaging.

We began by thoroughly understanding Bravecto®’s mechanism and MSD Animal Health’s objectives. Detailed storyboards and high-quality 3D models were created, followed by continuous collaboration and refinement. The final VR experience was crafted to ensure scientific accuracy and visual appeal, resulting in a powerful communication tool.

The project resulted in a high-quality VR experience that clearly and compellingly communicates Bravecto®’s unique mechanism and lasting benefits. This innovative tool has significantly enhanced stakeholder engagement at veterinary events and conferences..
“Working with 3D for Science on the Bravecto® VR experience was smooth from start to finish. The workflow was clear and collaborative, the 3D visualization deliveries genuinely impressed us, and the storytelling-led approach was executed thoughtfully. Feedback during the event was very positive.”
