About Alexion
CLIENT: Alexion, a pharmaceutical company that specializes in developing and commercializing treatments for rare diseases was founded in 1992 and acquired by AstraZeneca in 2021. Alexion is known for its pioneering work in complement biology, which has led to the development of life-saving treatments for conditions such as paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH) and atypical hemolytic uremic syndrome (aHUS).
SERVICE: As 3DforScience we worked together with Alexion to create a 3D animation video for Myasthenia Gravis (MG) an autoimmune disorder that affects synaptic transmission at the neuromuscular junction. This video aimed to help simplify complex medical concepts and provide a visual representation of conditions such as the production of anti-acetylcholine receptor autoantibodies that bind to acetylcholine receptors through a detailed process starting from a script to a visualization phase where we were able to highlight Alexion’s main objectives.
