3DforScience has been selected with an Augmented Reality Project for Snapdragon Spaces Program, by Deutsche Telekom’s Hubraum technology incubator.
On 30th June, the Berlin campus was hosting the onboarding day for the all-new Hubraum Snapdragon Spaces Program. Participating startups were enjoy access to a dedicated mentor from Deutsche Telekom as well as the latest Lenovo smart glasses and Motorola smartphones to test their software on.
Furthermore, they are partnering with Qualcomm Technologies Inc. on this program. This wireless technology giant is offering participants an open, cross-device horizontal platform and ecosystem to deliver the tools to bring developers’ ideas to life.
Over the next couple of months, companies will co-innovate with direct access to Qualcomm’s leading-edge Snapdragon Spaces XR Developer Platform where they will work on their XR apps with tech support and business mentors from Deutsche Telekom.
11 companies are now starting to merge their solutions into mixed reality thanks to Lenovo’s glasses.
QuarkXR, SyncReality, mixed.world, SPREE Interactive, Dingole Ltd, PatchXR, 3DforScience – Visuals for Bio&Health, Zoe Immersive, vSpatial, ZAUBAR, and Tiny Giant Heroes.
The Snapdragon Spaces platform
At the beginning of June, Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. opened the Snapdragon Spaces XR Developer Platform for developers to download — which means it’s available to anyone and everyone now at https://spaces.qualcomm.com/. Downloading the Snapdragon Spaces platform unlocks the foundational tools to create 3D applications for AR glasses from the ground up, add head-worn AR features to existing 2D Android smartphone applications, and more.
Together with Qualcomm Technologies Inc., Hubraum we’ll be giving augmented reality companies utilizing the Snapdragon Spaces™ XR Developer Platform access to our futuristic technology and business networks so that they can refine their products and get early access to potential customers.
