SERVICE:
This client was looking for a video capable of explaining its drug delivery platform. He wanted to give a special focus to the GentleTouch Piston pump which gives the flexibility to go from clinical trials to life cycle management. In fact, it is suitable for automatic reconstitution to simplify and enhance user experience. For this purpose, 3DforScience created a video explaining the mechanism of action of this platform with all its elements.
All the information sent by Sonceboz was first fitted into a specific structure that we have which is the script. This script an essential part that helps us in the development of medical animations for companies and that is composed of 3 columns that gather the voice over, different orientation images that help to visualize what the client is looking for, and the text that is going to be shown in the video if there is any. This part was crucial because as the technology was quite specific, we wanted to ensure that it was being explained in the right manner.
The storyboard followed this stage. The visual structure that the video was going to acquire was explained through handmade drawings. This phase allowed the client to have an overall idea of how the video is going to turn out. All the different parts of the platforms were identified but its small details were not represented. The storytelling is a powerful marketing tool present in all of our projects.
The large volume injector (LVI), the dual cartridge injector (DCI) or even the Sonceboz automatic reconstitution and LVI-V (ARI) are really well differentiated in the visualizations. The visualizations are the third phase in the elaboration of a video, here the right sizes, textures and lighting are identified. It was specially important to acquire the texture of the blue patch through which the D-NIS needle goes through.
Once all these was done, followed the animation which combined realistic scenes with some more artificial, like when the drug is delivered onto the body. The key point of the animation was to get to understand the mechanism of pumping really, not because it was quite time-consuming, instead because of all the indications that the client was giving for the right elaboration of the animation.
